Short-Term Hire: Ranging from 1 to 31 days. The scooters are for use on public paved roads, with a 200km daily limit.

Long-Term Hire: For durations longer than 31 days. Note that from 15 November to 31 December, long-term hire is not available unless a non-refundable two-month agreement is signed.

Motorcycle Hire: Day trips are available on both paved and unpaved public roads, with or without a backup rider.

• Scooters are delivered in good working condition.
• Backup support is provided in the event of breakdowns or punctures.
• The scooters are limited to a 80km geo-mapping area from Plettenberg Bay.
• The hirer is responsible for any damage or fines incurred while in possession of the scooter.
• Scooters are for non-commercial, leisure use only.

The hirer uses the scooter at their own risk. Plett Scooter Hire is not responsible for any injuries, damage, or loss incurred during the hire period.

• The hirer must be over 18 years of age.
• A valid driving license is required.
• The hirer must provide proof of address and a credit card for a security deposit.

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Direct bookings are on a first come first serve basis.
• Cancellations are accepted before the scooter is handed over, with a 10% administrative fee applied.

• The scooter must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
• Fuel tanks must be filled to the same level as when the scooter was delivered.

• Late returns will incur additional charges.
• Any preventable damage caused to the scooter will be charged to the hirer.
• A daily limit of 200km is applied; extra charges may apply for exceeding this.

• Full refunds on the security deposit are issued if the scooter is returned on time, in good condition, and with no damages.
• Rebates for unused mileage  are offered
